In a recent press release entitled ‘Sumo Logic Achieves FedRAMP Moderate Authorization’, dated Feb 2, 2021, the pioneer in continuous intelligence announced its Continuous Intelligence Platform™ has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP™) Authorization at a Moderate impact level enabling the company to help public sector organizations get real-time insights into their complex on-premises and cloud environments.

Today, we announce another important milestone that will accelerate the governments’ access to our modern cloud platform. Sumo Logic products, solutions and services are now available through our Public Sector distributor DLT’s GSA IT-70 Schedule. This is a substantial contract with a broad reach across all governments in the US Public Sector. [ According to Gartner Group, Inc. the Government IT spending in North America was estimated to be the largest globally, reaching $191 billion in 2020.](https://www.gartner.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2020-08-05-gartner-forecasts-global-government-it-spending-to-de)

The General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 is the government’s go-to source for IT acquisitions and is broadly recognized for its benefits of cost savings, time savings, selection, and built-in value. Commercial products and services are available for purchase by federal, state and local governments, including tribal governments and educational institutions defined under 40 U.S.C. § 502(c). Additionally, the GSA contract terms and pricing are often used as a basis for other contract awards across the federal and state governments.

“Public Sector customers around the globe want to know that their journey to the cloud can be accomplished efficiently and securely”, said Doug Natal General Manager of Sumo Logic Public Sector, “our FedRAMP Authorization strengthens our customer’s security and compliance posture, now with the GSA Schedule 70 access our Government customers will experience easy access to transact with pre-negotiated terms and pricing.
