Symbol lockup
The symbol lockup can be used in cases where a singular application of both logo and symbol is needed.
Please note: The SUMO in the square is a color - either white or Sumo blue. It is never a cutout, and it is never black or any other color. See examples below for the correct color application based on type of background. The only exception if it's being printed on glass or a material where the SUMO absolutely cannot be white or Sumo blue.

Color symbol lockup options
There are two color symbol lockups; one that should only be used on a light background, and the other that should only be used on a dark background.
Black symbol lockup
Use the black symbol lockup when reproduction is limited to black and white or if your overall color palette is monochromatic. It is to be used only against light backgrounds.
Reversed symbol lockup
Use the reverse symbol lockup on dark backgrounds only.

Clear space
Follow the specifications below for the required amount of clear space to ensure maximum visibility and legibility. The clear space is defined by .5x the height of the square.

Usage
The symbol lockup is not Sumo Logic’s logo. It can be used when the presence of the symbol is necessary but the logo is required due to legality. Only used symbol lockup assets provided. Do not create new versions of the lockup.
Placement
The location of the symbol lockup in layouts is important for recognition, especially when seen multiple times across various touch points. In most cases, the location is media driven and the main consideration becomes visibility of the Sumo Logic symbol lockup over a consistent location.
Alignment
When placing the symbol lockup consider the alignment with the grid, type, and graphic or image. The symbol lockup is primarily centered on applications.
