Preview Releases
Sumo Logic uses a standardized Customer Preview program to bring customers into early access for new products and features before they reach general availability (GA). Participating in a Preview gives you the opportunity to explore upcoming capabilities, validate them in your environment, and share feedback that directly shapes product development.
Work with your account team to learn more about available Previews and to sign up for early access.
When participating in a Preview, understand that:
- Features may evolve before general availability
- There may be known limitations or issues
- Participation may require providing feedback (calls, surveys)
- Support levels may vary depending on the stage
Each preview tier reflects the scope of customer participation.

Private Preview
Private Preview features are available to a small, curated group of customers recruited by the Product and UX teams. This tier is used to validate features with design partners before broader rollout.
- Participation is by invitation only.
- Features may evolve and have known limitations.
- Documentation may be limited or unavailable.
Extended Preview
Extended Preview features are available to a selected group of customers who meet eligibility criteria. Your account team nominates you for participation, and the Product Manager reviews and approves each nomination.
- Participation requires nomination by your account team.
- Features may evolve and have known limitations.
- Documentation is available but may be incomplete.
Public Preview
Public Preview features are production-ready and available to the broadest group of customers that meet eligibility criteria.
- Participation is open to all eligible customers. Availability may be subject to your existing agreements with Sumo Logic.
- Full documentation and support are available.
General Availability
Generally available features are fully supported and production-ready for all customers. No special enrollment is required.

- Submit feedback through your dedicated Slack channel (if applicable)
- Report issues to the product team via your account team
