The Automation Service allows you to develop and extend integrations using a common and open framework. This section describes the framework and provides examples.

Because the Automation Service is a subset of automation capabilities adapted from Cloud SOAR, some of the functionality documented below is unique to [Cloud SOAR automation](/docs/cloud-soar/automation/).
