Run Searches in the Background and Get Email Notifications (Search)

We're excited to introduce two ways to run a search in the background, so you do not have to keep the Search page open while you wait. If a log search's elapsed time exceeds about a minute, a banner prompts you to click Run in Background, and you'll receive an email notification with a link to the results as soon as it completes. For searches that finish in under a minute, click the three-dot kebab icon and select Run in Background (Pin) to pin it yourself, no email needed since the search is already done. Learn more.
