VMware Cloud SVP and GM Joins Sumo Logic Team as CEO
REDWOOD CITY, CA – December 2, 2014 – Sumo Logic, the next-generation machine data intelligence company, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Ramin Sayar as president and chief executive officer; more than 100 percent sequential quarter bookings growth; over 500 customers; and a robust ecosystem of partnerships with the industry’s top technology innovators in cloud, big data, DevOps and machine learning including AWS, Akamai, Chef, SaltStack and ServiceNow. Sayar hails from VMware, where he was senior vice president and general manager of the Cloud Management Business Unit.
