Chris Malone
Chief Executive Officer
Chris Malone is the Chief Executive Officer of Sumo Logic, where he leads the company’s strategy, innovation, and global operations. A seasoned technology executive with more than two decades of leadership experience, Chris has built a reputation for helping high-growth software companies scale through operational excellence, disciplined execution, and customer-focused innovation.
Prior to joining Sumo Logic, Chris served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors at Applause, the global leader in digital quality and crowdsourced testing. After joining the company in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer, he later served as President before being named CEO in 2021. During his tenure, Chris helped drive Applause’s international expansion, broaden its enterprise customer base, and strengthen its position as a trusted partner to the world’s leading brands. In recognition of his leadership, he was named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award.
Before Applause, Chris was Chief Financial Officer of NTT DATA’s North American business, where he oversaw the financial operations of a billion-dollar organization. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions spanning finance, sales, and operations and began his career at KPMG as a Certified Public Accountant.
Chris serves on the Board of Trustees at Babson College and chairs the college’s Advisory Board. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Babson College.
Conor Burns
Chief Financial Officer
Conor Burns is the Chief Financial Officer at Sumo Logic, bringing over 20 years of finance leadership experience across technology and financial services companies. He leads the strategic finance, financial planning and analysis, and accounting functions.
Prior to Sumo Logic, Conor served as CFO at EPFR, where he built a standalone finance and accounting function during a financial carve-out. He also served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Applause, and earlier in his career, Conor spent several years in finance roles at Ciber and HP.
Conor holds a master’s degree in business administration and finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s in business administration and finance from the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.
Sophie Kitson
Chief Human Resources Officer
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Sophie is responsible for our global people strategy and operations, from developing and retaining world-class talent, fostering a deep commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equality, and ensuring we deliver engaging and career-defining experiences for our people.
Sophie has almost 30 years of experience in the technology sector, starting with a decade at Accenture where she was a developer and client-facing consultant. Her passion for enabling people to thrive and excel took her to people-focused roles throughout her career, at large public companies and high-growth startups where she led people strategies that focused on employee opportunity, impact, and growth. She has a deep commitment to culture, operational maturity, and core values that enable organizations to be both stewards of employee success and business-focused performance. Prior to joining Sumo Logic, Sophie was senior vice president of people at PagerDuty, where she successfully helped the company scale from a start-up to a global, high-performing SaaS business, primed for success in the public markets. Sophie has also held global executive and management roles at Mercury Interactive, Juniper Square, Nimsoft, and Salesforce.com.
Sophie holds a joint honors B.A. in Politics and History from the University of York in the United Kingdom.
Keith Kuchler
Chief Product & Technology Officer
Keith is the Chief Product & Technology Officer for Sumo Logic, where he is responsible for leading all aspects of our full software delivery lifecycle, from product management, architecture, development, user experience, product operations and SRE. He focuses on delivering immense customer value through simplicity and technical innovation within our products. With more than 25 years of product strategy and global technology leadership, a core focus of leadership is building and managing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and alignment across the organization, ensuring quality and efficiency in our processes, and leveraging data-driven decision making to optimize our overall strategy. Keith is passionate about delivering exceptional products that meet the evolving needs of our customers and solidify Sumo Logic’s position as a leader in the industry.
Prior to joining Sumo Logic, Keith held executive leadership roles at Automox, Shopify, SolarWinds, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and HP Inc., leading globally distributed teams that deliver value through products that delighted customers and partners.
Keith has a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Rutgers University.
Kim Moceri
Executive Vice President, Operations
Kim Moceri is Executive Vice President of Operations at Sumo Logic, where she leads global post-sales organizations, including professional services and support, with a focus on operational excellence across the customer lifecycle. She partners with the executive leadership team to accelerate growth and deliver measurable outcomes for customers.
Kim brings more than 30 years of post-sales leadership experience. Before joining Sumo Logic, she was a managing operating partner at Francisco Partners Consulting, where she worked with portfolio company executives to improve operating models across customer success, professional services, support, and renewals. Earlier in her career, Kim held senior post-sales leadership roles at ClickSoftware and RSA Security, where she built and scaled global organizations spanning customer success, professional services, technical support, and customer care. At RSA Security, a subsidiary of Dell/EMC, she was responsible for a $260 million P&L serving more than 18,000 customers. At ClickSoftware, she played a key role in the due diligence that supported its acquisition by Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM).
Kim has an associate of science degree in business from Hesser College.
Jeremy Powell
Chief Information Security Officer
Jeremy Powell is the Chief Information Security Officer at Sumo Logic, bringing 30 years of experience across cloud, networking, datacenter, product development, and security leadership. He leads the company’s global security program, including security operations, application security, and governance, risk, and compliance, and is responsible for protecting the platform that customers rely on as their source of truth for security and observability data.
Before joining Sumo Logic, Jeremy was Chief Technology Officer at LockThreat, an AI-native governance, risk, and compliance platform. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at Verint (VRNT), and held senior leadership roles across cloud infrastructure, networking, and security at several enterprise organizations.
Jeremy holds an executive MBA from the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University, and a bachelor of business administration in information technology from Georgia College & State University.
Liz Shulof
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer at Sumo Logic, Liz Shulof is responsible for our global brand and marketing strategy. She is passionate about amplifying Sumo Logic as a leader in the security and observability markets, and collaborating with our customers, partners, and employees to create an exceptional brand experience.
Liz brings more than two decades of developing and managing strategic and marketing initiatives for B2B technology companies. She most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at BeyondTrust, where she led the global Marketing and Sales Development strategy and programs. Prior to BeyondTrust, Liz served as Vice President at Greenough Communications, where she managed public relations programs for various technology companies, including Quest Software, Numara Software, and IGEL Technology. Previously, she spent more than five years in strategy and technology consulting with Accenture.
Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Purdue University.
