Limelight Networks Generates New Insights w/ Sumo Logic

The Limelight Network’s Web Content Management group delivers the dynamic site platform which is the global leader in on demand web content management. We’ve done a great job over the years of collecting and generating a lot of metrics and trending those, but how do we get real-time ad hoc querying of the tremendous amount of log data that we’re generating? One of the huge wins for us with Sumo is the fact that it’s able to put structure on unstructured data and we don’t have to try and build that ourselves. Very quickly, our logs were available in centralized storage, and the processing and intelligent parsing of the logs that Sumo was doing allowed us the ability, using Sumo search language, to run these ad hoc queries against our log data to generate new insights that we hadn’t seen before.
